Who we are
Mainstreet is a small-business studio operated by Aivant. In this policy, “Mainstreet,” “Aivant,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the team responsible for this website, our workflow-review service, and related communications.
What we collect
We collect personal information when you choose to provide it, including:
- contact information such as your name, work email address, and phone number;
- information about your business, team size, tools, and the workflow or problem you ask us to review;
- booking details and messages you send when arranging or preparing for a call;
- an email address and worksheet answers when you request a resource or a personalized recap; and
- your phone number, sample quote inputs, and consent choice when you choose to run the Instant Quote Engine SMS demo; and
- information you submit through a Meta lead form after seeing one of our ads.
Our website and service providers may also receive basic technical information needed to deliver and secure their services, such as an IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, referring pages, and service logs.
Why we use it
We use personal information to:
- deliver requested resources and personalized worksheet recaps;
- respond to inquiries and prepare for workflow-review calls;
- schedule meetings and send related service communications;
- assess whether and how we can help with a workflow;
- operate, troubleshoot, protect, and improve our website and services;
- measure the effectiveness of a campaign or referral source; and
- meet legal, accounting, security, and record-keeping obligations.
We limit collection and use to purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers to run parts of the website and customer journey. These currently include Cloudflare for hosting and security, Quo for the two SMS messages you explicitly request in the Instant Quote Engine demo, Tally for the workflow-review form, Cal.com for scheduling, Resend for requested emails, and Meta when you interact with our Facebook or Instagram pages, ads, or lead forms.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices and may process or store it outside Alberta or Canada. Information in another country may be available to courts, law-enforcement authorities, or regulators under that country’s laws.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to investigate security or misuse, to protect our rights or others, or as part of a business reorganization with appropriate safeguards.
Consent and communications
By submitting a form, requesting a resource, or booking a call, you consent to our collection and use of the information for the purposes shown at the point of collection and described here. You may withdraw consent for optional uses at any time, subject to reasonable notice and legal or contractual restrictions.
Transactional messages needed to deliver a resource or manage a booking are not marketing subscriptions. If we introduce promotional email, it will include the consent and unsubscribe controls required for that communication.
The Instant Quote Engine demo sends exactly two one-time SMS messages to the number you enter: a customer-view sample quote and an owner-view sample alert. They are demo messages, do not create a booking, and do not enroll you in sales follow-up. You can reply STOP to opt out of further messages from our Quo account.
Retention and safeguards
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, to maintain appropriate business records, or to meet legal obligations. We then delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it where practical.
For the SMS demo, our abuse-prevention and consent audit keeps hashed identifiers, the last four phone digits, the consent version and time, quote type, and messaging acceptance status for up to 30 days. The raw phone number is used to make the two requested sends and is not written to our demo audit store. Quo may retain messaging records under its own terms and privacy practices.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and access rights
You may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. You may also ask a question or challenge our compliance with this policy. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and limited legal exceptions may apply.
To make a request, email our Privacy Lead at hello@mainstreetbyaivant.com.
Children
Our services are intended for business owners and professionals, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version here and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
