Two ways. First, we route every workflow through Build / Buy / Bridge / Skipbefore pitching anything — most of the time we'll tell you not to hire us. Second, when we do build, we build production-grade systems, not Zapier glue.
It depends on the workflow. Some Builds are a few thousand dollars; some are more. We don't quote until we know what we're building. The discovery call is free, and we tell you what something would cost before you commit to anything.
Depends on scope. A simple workflow can ship in a few weeks. Something cross-system might take longer. We tell you on the call once we know what we're building.
That's a valid outcome. Some workflows are better left alone — too low-volume, too unstable, or just not worth automating. If that's the answer, we'll tell you. No bill.
That's the consulting problem we're built against. Some calls surface workflows worth Building. Most don't — they surface things to Buy off-the-shelf or Skip entirely. We're paid only when there's something worth building. Pushing you toward a Build when QuickBooks would do is how we'd lose your trust, not earn it.
